One of the reasons for my latest slump in posting stuff is the small influx of DS games that have come into my possession over the past two weeks. Having pre-ordered them in full (and remaining very wary of Gamestop's potential to screw me over), I was able to pick up Dragon Quest 4 and Disgaea DS. There's something really nice about not being stuck in a Gamestop down here. Toms River has produced some real mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging citizens...and they all play the vidja gaems. I won't bother to go further with this and start ranting (besides, I already did on a forum I go to: http://hg101.proboards92.com/index.cgi?board=games&action=display&thread=3319&page=1, I started the thread, and now I urge you all to fuel this hateful fire).

Until I come up with some new sketches, I've dug up some old pieces from my deviant art page. I used to post all my stuff on there, but thanks to the needless drama that plagues the site, I was banned (long story short: if your critique has anything negative, people tend to get all offended and consider it "flaming"). Anyways, feel free to grimace at my old stuff. I'd like to think that I've become better since these pieces, but it could just be an entirely new type of "suck".


I have no idea why I'm so averse to color. I'll use every shade of gray, but usually avoid color. Blegh.
See? Same thing with this piece. I kinda wanna do this one over, with actual colors. Make it look decent. Oh yeah, I screwed up the date, it should be '07, not '06.

Nothin special in this post, just some etc. from my sketch pad. Squirrel Girl and the ska burger guy-thing were suggestions from a friend. Man that burger came out like ass... not happy with squirrel girl either. Mebbe i should draw her and Deadpool all teamed up-like. As an aside, Dragon Quest for is the bee's knees. THE BEE'S KNEES.

I don't like how the pyro came out, his hand (the one I bothered to draw, at least) looks off, and I wanted him to look a lil bulkier. The zombie was thrown in there just to make use of the paper, and cause I like doodling them. He's a happy feller.

I love Brule's Rules, and subsequently hate how this drawing came out. That arm...gah!

I've discovered that my creativity peaked last night, when I made SPAGHETTI SANDWICHES. Don't knock em til you've tried em, seriously. Everything I do will now be held in comparison to these amazing eatables, and will certainly shrivel and wilt in the glaring light of awesome that they produce.
